ZYN Blackcurrant Frost 13.5mg: Menthol First, Dark Berries on Top

ZYN Blackcurrant Frost 13.5mg is a cooling berry pouch in the Regular (Slim) format, with 13.5mg of nicotine in each pouch. If you used ZYN Icy Blackcurrant at 12.5mg, this is the can that replaced it, now one step stronger.

What Does ZYN Blackcurrant Frost Taste Like?

ZYN describes the flavour as cooling menthol topped by dark berries and fruit. The menthol lands first and lays down a cold base, then deep blackcurrant and berry notes settle over it.

Expect the chill before the fruit. It suits people who like their berry flavours served properly cold rather than as a gentle background.

Blackcurrant Frost or Blackcurrant Ice?

ZYN Blackcurrant Ice is a separate product with very similar flavour notes: menthol, fruit, blackcurrant and berry. ZYN Blackcurrant Ice 13.5mg matches this can on strength, while ZYN Blackcurrant Ice 11mg is the gentler option if 13.5mg feels like too much.

How Strong Is ZYN Blackcurrant Frost 13.5mg?

Every pouch holds 13.5mg of nicotine, which works out at 19.29mg/g. On the can you will see five strength dots, and in our own scale it sits in the Ultra Strong category.

This is a pouch for experienced users who already get on well with 11mg. Many people know this kind of product as ZYN snus, but there is no tobacco leaf inside: just nicotine, flavourings and sweeteners in a plant fibre pouch.
