KI Satsuma Citrus 3MG

KI Satsuma Citrus 3MG: A Mellow Mandarin for Lighter Use

KI Satsuma Citrus 3MG pairs a sunny mandarin flavour with just 3mg of nicotine per pouch. It is a tobacco free pouch from KI, the Ki Bio brand whose recipes look to Japan for inspiration, and it is often called KI snus even though no tobacco leaf goes into it.

A Michelin trained chef worked on the flavours, and the pouches sold in the UK are produced in Helsingborg, Sweden.

What Does KI Satsuma Citrus Taste Like?

Think of peeling a ripe satsuma: mild, juicy and not at all sharp. The aromatic skin comes through alongside honey and a twist of orange zest, and the last impression is of bittersweet marmalade.

It has no cooling effect, which KI says makes it a good pick if mint and ice aren't for you. The nicotine, derived from tobacco, is bound with beta cyclodextrin, a starch derived compound, and the pH is set to keep the burn low.

Satsuma Citrus at 3MG or 9MG

Same mandarin, same slim pouch, different nicotine. Regular users after more strength can step up to KI Satsuma Citrus 9MG, which has 9mg per pouch against 3mg here.

How Strong Is KI Satsuma Citrus 3MG?

3mg of nicotine in each pouch puts this in our Light category. It suits first time pouch users, people who like a softer experience, and anyone reducing the strength they use. As with all KI cans, the number refers to each pouch, and no mg/g value is published.
